in the real estate and corporate legal sectors, she is recognized for her integrity,

About Dr.Roopa Shetty
Born in the picturesque city of Mangalore, Karnataka, she was drawn early
to the principles of law and public affairs, shaping her path toward the legal
profession. Over time, she developed a professional approach that blends
legal precision with strategic insight, enabling her to handle complex
matters with clarity and confidence.
Education
She completed her B.A. LL.B from SDM Law College, Mangalore University
(1998–2002), where she built a strong foundation in legal theory and
practice.
Further strengthening her academic profile, she pursued a Post Graduate
Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (PGDIRPM),
which enhanced her understanding of organizational dynamics alongside
legal frameworks.

She began her career as a Legal Advisor at NITTE Education Trust (2002–2004),
followed by her role as Senior Legal Manager at Group SJR (2004–2008), where
she handled drafting, title verification, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
In 2008, she founded Lex Situs , Advocates and Solicitors in Bengaluru, which
has since grown into a trusted legal advisory firm. As Founder and Senior
Advocate, she continues to lead the firm with a focus on professionalism, timely
execution, and ethical client service. Dr. Roopa Shetty’s vision and
commitment have transformed Lex Situs into a dynamic law firm known for
its depth, integrity, and legal excellence.
Lex Situs specializes in corporate, property, and real estate law, offering services
such as property documentation, due diligence, joint venture advisory, township
planning, land use regulation, mortgage agreements, construction contracts, and
regulatory compliance. The firm is empanelled with several leading banks and
financial institutions, supporting a wide range of corporate and real estate
transactions.

helped revive the project and was appreciated by the Hon’ble Bombay High
Court.
She also contributed to a landmark judgment before the Hon’ble Karnataka High
Court directing the BBMP to frame comprehensive rules on car parking,
strengthening regulatory clarity and urban governance.
